Horse Riding FAQ’s
1What should I wear?
Riding hats can be borrowed from the centre, at no extra charge.
We recommend riders wear long comfortable trousers, e.g. leggings or jogging bottoms, a top that covers their shoulders and a shoe/boot with a smooth sole and small heel. Trainers are not acceptable footwear - they are dangerous, and your foot could very easily become trapped in the stirrup. Long hair should be tied into a low pony tail with all grips and clips removed. Riders should also be sure to remove any jewelry.
2Do you ride in all weathers?
We ride rain or shine. Horse riding is a country sport. So come prepared with water proofs.
3How do I pay?
We accept cash or cheque. We do NOT accept card.
Cheques must be made out to 'Red arth Equestrian Centre Ltd'
4Do you have a price list?
Yes you can view our price list Here.
5Can I use my own helmet?
Yes of course. As long as it meets the current BHS standards as seen Here.
6Whats your cancellation policy?
We operate a strict 48 hour cancellation policy for all lessons without exception. If a lesson is cancelled within 48 hours, the payment is non-refundable. If the lesson is cancelled with more than 48 hours’ notice we can either re book straight away, transfer the money onto your account which you can use at a later date or ask for a refund.
